The Ultimate Support System for Founders

Startup Founder Daily began in January of 2022 as a Twitter account that gave shout outs to founders and has since experienced rapid growth through digital channels such as a websitenewsletter, and podcast. Founded in Chicago by Luke Versweyveld, the goal is to build out the ultimate support system for startups. Luke and his VP of Operations (and brother in law) Henry work with founders to make important connections to investors, service providers, and offer support to founders along their journeys. Best of all, their services are free for founders.

What is Startup Founder Daily?

What began as a Twitter account (now with 5 thousand followers) has developed organically since. Luke realized there is value as a B2B company where founders are connected to resources and individuals through media promotion. “Let founders borrow our audience to share their story” stated Luke in an interview with Mug.News. Since March of 2022, Startup Founder Daily has amassed a following of subscribers and over 400 founders who have applied to be featured on their site. Click here to apply to be featured. Founders apply from any geographic location and industry with a focus on pre-seed companies. “We slide in and provide media attention to those who don’t normally get it” stated Luke, when asked why the focus is on companies in the pre-seed stage. Earlier this month, a cohort for entrepreneurial minded students was formed through Startup Founder Daily in which students connect internationally to discuss their startups, network, and practice skills needed to be an investor.

Funding and Revenue

Startup Founder Daily is currently bootstrapping and does not have plans to raise funds at this time. They are securing sponsorship deals for their traditional media and aim to grow their podcast, which currently has 28 subscribers. Revenue streams currently come from the agency side of SFD where a few partnerships with service providers have been set in place. This resource goes back to the founders who reach out and ask for critical resources concerning development shops, consultants, CPA’s, and others.

Looking to the Future

Future plans include helping the next generation of founders and investors get plugged into the ecosystem through a virtual job fair. Luke’s goal is to create one of the largest startup focused virtual job fairs, and the path is already being laid out. He has secured a partner for this initiative and aims to host the job fair later this year or in Q1 of 2023. A long term goal is to form a syndicate to compile checks and fund companies who apply to Startup Founder Daily.
