Mug.News Flash: Working From Home

According to a Stanford research study conducted this year, 42% of America’s labor is now work from home oriented.

If you didn’t already work from home, there was definitely an adjustment period!

Distractions can be present and hinder productivity, however there are actually some pretty cool benefits from staying in!

Who doesn’t like to press that snooze button one or two more times? Thanks to the lack of the commute to the office, that dream is now achievable!

Besides, hobbies are making a hardcore comeback! People around the country are spending extra free time learning new skills or improving the ones they already have.

Maybe you miss your co-working space, which is completely understandable. But what about getting to spend more time with your furry pals! I’m sure they’re happy to have you home.

Don’t forget about the afternoon breaks! As long as you get your work done, you can be more flexible with your schedule. A walk in the middle of the workday? Yes please!

The influx of people making homemade bread can be found everywhere on the internet. Now that people are working from home, there is more time to try cooking from scratch instead of the temptation of fast food.

Not to mention, dressing to impress from head to toe is now a thing of the past! Shiny shoes have been demoted to cozy socks.

Of course, this isn’t meant to take away from the struggles we face due to Covid-19. But a few silver linings here and there sure help.
